The 30th FAKUMA International Trade Fair for Plastics Processing took place in Friedrichshafen, Germany, from October 12 to 16, 2026. Over the five days, 1,547 exhibitors presented the latest innovations and advancements in the plastics processing industry to 36,278 trade visitors. As an established manufacturer specializing in precision injection molding and Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) molding, Hongrita showcased its latest technological achievements and intelligent manufacturing solutions at the exhibition. We engaged in in-depth exchanges with global customers and partners, highlighting our manufacturing capabilities in the automotive, industrial, medical, and consumer electronics sectors.
1. Spotlight on Innovation: Strong Interest in LSR and Multi-Material Technologies
At the exhibition, Hongrita highlighted its LSR molding solutions alongside multi-cavity precision injection molding and multi-material technologies. Addressing the strict requirements of the European market for high-precision, high-airtightness components, our technical team shared on-site insights on effectively controlling flash and cured runner waste in LSR molding through automated production and mold flow analysis.
● Medical: Displayed LSR medical consumables and precision multi-cavity molds compliant with ISO 13485 standards.
● Automotive: Shared overmolding processes certified under IATF 16949, contributing to the lightweighting and sealing performance enhancement of new energy vehicles.
2. Green Manufacturing: EcoVadis Silver Medal Reflects Our ESG Commitment
In response to European customers' continuous focus on supply chain carbon footprints, Hongrita presented its "Green Manufacturing and Carbon Reduction Practices" to global visitors.
In October 2026, EcoVadis released Hongrita's annual assessment results, awarding Hongrita a Silver Medal with a percentile ranking of 89, a significant upgrade from the Bronze Medal in 2025. This rating reflects Hongrita's ongoing efforts to integrate sustainable development into our daily operations, supported by our advanced Industry 4.0 manufacturing capabilities. Moving forward, Hongrita will continue to deepen its ESG management to provide customers with greener and more responsible products and services.
3. In-Depth Dialogues: Exploring Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) with Global Customers
During the exhibition, Hongrita's technical and sales teams engaged in face-to-face communications with numerous existing and potential customers. Addressing customers' concerns regarding supply chain efficiency and quality control in China, we elaborated on Hongrita's Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) model—starting from upfront mold engineering design to help customers shorten development cycles, reduce trial-and-error costs, and ensure a smooth transition from design to mass production.
The FAKUMA trip not only strengthened Hongrita's cooperative relationships with existing European customers but also introduced us to many new partners with high-precision demands in the medical and automotive sectors. Looking ahead, Hongrita will continue to leverage its R&D capabilities and global service network to provide global customers with more competitive precision molds and injection molding solutions.
Sincere thanks to all friends who visited the Hongrita booth! If you missed the exhibition or have requirements for LSR and precision injection molding, please feel free to contact us (info@hongrita.com).
