Mr. Felix Choi founded Hongrita in Hong Kong in 1988. After completing the apprentice program, he borrowed money to invest in his first milling machine. Renting a corner in a friend's factory, he established Hongrita Mould Engineering Company, specializing in mold and hardware parts processing. His humble, diligent, and progressive entrepreneurial spirit attracted a core team of like-minded partners. Together, they established a reputation for manufacturing precision plastic molds.
Riding the wave of national reform and opening up, Hongrita established its first production base in Longgang District, Shenzhen, expanding its business to include plastic molding and secondary processing. By 2003, the company initiated R&D in multi-material/multi-component molding technology. In 2012, Hongrita made major breakthroughs in Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) mold and molding technology, establishing itself as an industry benchmark.
To expand globally, operational bases were established in Cuiheng New District, Zhongshan City (2015) and Penang State, Malaysia (2019). The management initiated a comprehensive digital upgrade in 2018, formulating long-term development plans and ESG sustainable development strategies.
