Precision Mold Design, Multi-Material Component Molding, and Intelligent Turnkey Solutions for Global High-Tech Industries
Mr. Felix Choi founded Hongrita in Hong Kong in 1988. Driven by a commitment to engineering excellence, our business has steadily expanded to meet the demands of global markets. We have established state-of-the-art mold and plastic precision component manufacturing plants in Longgang District (Shenzhen City), Cuiheng New District (Zhongshan City), and Penang State (Malaysia). Today, the Group operates 6 physical plants and employs approximately 2500 professionals globally.
Hongrita focuses on the core competencies of precision molds and intelligent plastic molding technology and equipment integration. Our tooling solutions excel in multi-material (multi-component), multi-cavity, and Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) technologies. Our comprehensive processing capabilities include advanced injection molding, extrusion, and injection stretch blow molding (ISBM).
Through equipment integration, we combine patented molds, customized molding machines, rotary tables, self-developed automation systems, and advanced software to deliver turnkey solutions. We serve globally recognized brands in Maternal & Child Health, Medical Machinery, Industrial & Automotive, and Smart Technologies.
Over three decades of precision tooling and manufacturing innovation, transitioning from a localized workshop to an international smart manufacturing enterprise.
After completing his apprentice program, founder Mr. Felix Choi secured funding to purchase his first milling machine in June 1988. Renting a small space in a friend's factory, he established Hongrita Mould Engineering Company, focusing on precision mold and hardware parts processing. The team's craftsmanship helped build a strong reputation for high-quality plastic mold design.
Hongrita established its first mainland production base in Longgang, Shenzhen, expanding into plastic molding and secondary processing. In 2003, the company began R&D into multi-material and multi-component molding technologies. By 2012, Hongrita achieved breakthroughs in Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) tooling and molding, establishing itself as an industry benchmark.
To scale operations, Hongrita established key bases in Cuiheng New District, Zhongshan (2015) and Penang, Malaysia (2019). Initiating a digital transformation in 2018, the management team integrated ESG strategies, digital intelligence, and AI tools. Hongrita is currently working toward establishing a world-class smart factory.
