Founded in Hong Kong in 1988 by Mr. Felix Choi, Hongrita has grown from a humble mold processing shop into a global leader in precision injection molding. Driven by an unwavering commitment to quality and engineering excellence, we have built advanced manufacturing bases across strategic locations, including Longgang District (Shenzhen City), Cuiheng New District (Zhongshan City), and Penang State (Malaysia). Today, our group operates 6 physical plants and employs approximately 2500 professionals dedicated to delivering top-tier manufacturing solutions.
Hongrita's core business revolves around precision molds and intelligent plastic molding technology and equipment integration. We lead the industry in multi-material (multi-component), multi-cavity, and Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) technologies. Our comprehensive processing capabilities span injection molding, extrusion, injection drawing, and blow molding processes.
Through seamless equipment integration, we combine patented molds, customized molding machinery, rotary turntables, in-house developed automation systems, and real-time management software. 1988 - The Genesis
After completing his apprenticeship, founder Mr. Felix Choi invested in his first milling machine. He rented space to establish Hongrita Mould Engineering Company, building a solid reputation for precision plastic molds.
1993 - Expansion & R&D
Established our first Mainland China base in Longgang, Shenzhen, expanding into plastic molding. By 2003, we initiated R&D in multi-material molding, followed by breakthroughs in liquid silicone rubber (LSR) mold technologies in 2012.
2015 - 2024 & Beyond
Established operations in Zhongshan (2015) and Penang, Malaysia (2019). We integrated digital intelligence, AI applications, OKR frameworks, and ESG strategies, working toward building a world-class smart lighthouse factory.
